Prefix: /v1/developer/compute-jobs. Reads need compute:read; creation and termination need the corresponding compute execution access.

Catalog and launch

Read the live catalog rather than hardcoding GPU availability. Types contain name, description, GPU, architecture, hourlyCents, regions and specs. Region entries contain a name and description. specs describes vCPUs, memory, storage and GPU count.
Supply a valid SSH public key, never a private key. Instance type is at most 100 letters/digits/underscores/hyphens; region is at most 60 lowercase letters, digits/hyphens. publicKey is bounded to 4096 characters and accepts the supported SSH key formats. Persist the idempotency key before creation. Availability can change between catalog inspection and launch. Do not launch a second machine to resolve an ambiguous response.

Pagination and state

List limit is 1–100. Pass nextCursor unchanged for the next page. The response contains jobs, pageSize, total, hasMore and nextCursor; a final page has a null nextCursor. States include queued, registering_key, key_registered, launching, needs_reconciliation, running, terminating, terminated and failed. Read the saved job to confirm its actual state. A local timeout does not terminate it. Returned fields may include providerStatus, ip, activeAt, billingStoppedAt, billedMinutes, terminationReason and receipt values. Billing metadata is available only when the corresponding lifecycle event has occurred.

Access and termination

Notebook URLs contain private access material; do not log or share them. For SSH, use your corresponding private key and validate the host identity. The hosted API cannot recover a lost private key. The CLI can prepare and store local access before launch; see GPU access. Call cancel, then verify terminated status and final usage. Closing SSH, ending an agent or revoking a local shell session is not a stop request. There is no automatic persistent-volume service implied by included machine disk. Copy required files before terminating the machine.
