Required for CLI and local MCP API operations

Production uses https://dreamtune-api.fly.dev. These settings are read by the process running the CLI/MCP server. A desktop client’s environment can differ from your shell. Missing or invalid required configuration fails explicitly. The HTTP SDK instead takes apiKey and baseUrl in DreamtuneClient options. Pass an AbortSignal for caller-managed deadlines.

Local compute

The state directory stores launch references and SSH access, not the platform key. Local MCP advertises its local access tools when that capability is configured. Hosted MCP accepts public launch inputs and never writes a private key onto the customer’s computer.

Observability context

A prompt selection requires its name and exactly one version or label. Supply the inputs required by its template. See managed prompts.

Secret handling

Keep actual keys out of committed JSON, shell history and URLs. Where supported, use client-specific secret inputs or environment references. Do not copy one editor’s substitution syntax into another editor without checking its guide. See coding-agent setup for the different configuration shapes.
