# Agent skills

> Install Dreamtune instructions into an agent that loads skills.

Skills are instruction files that teach an agent how to use Dreamtune's CLI and
MCP operations. They do not contain API credentials or grant permissions.

## Install

```sh theme={null}
npm install --global @dreamtune/sdk
dreamtune skills list
dreamtune skills install all --directory YOUR_AGENT_SKILLS_DIRECTORY
```

Choose the actual directory your agent reads. Installation creates one named
directory per skill, each containing `SKILL.md`. It refuses to overwrite an
existing skill directory.

## Bundled skills

| Skill | Purpose |
| - | - |
| `dreamtune-platform` | Choose an interface and follow workspace and billing rules |
| `dreamtune-tools` | Discover, inspect and execute tools |
| `dreamtune-models` | Submit model requests and handle function calls |
| `dreamtune-compute` | Prepare access, launch, inspect and stop GPUs |
| `dreamtune-observability` | Inspect traces, sessions, users and prompts |

You can install a single skill:

```sh theme={null}
dreamtune skills install dreamtune-tools --directory YOUR_AGENT_SKILLS_DIRECTORY
```

Configure the agent's [MCP connection](/mcp) or [CLI environment](/cli) separately.
Installing a skill does not configure credentials, start an agent or execute work.
