# Versions and compatibility

> Published package requirements, supported interfaces and upgrade checks.

These docs describe the published `@dreamtune/sdk` 0.1.1 contract. The package
contains the TypeScript SDK, `dreamtune` CLI, local MCP executable and five
bundled skills. Hosted execution MCP is already deployed.

## Runtime

Use Node.js 22.20 or later. Local GPU access additionally requires OpenSSH.
The HTTP SDK is an ESM package; import it with standard ES module syntax.

```sh theme={null}
npm view @dreamtune/sdk version
dreamtune --version
```

The first command checks the published release; the second checks your installed
CLI. Use your application's lockfile to review and pin dependency changes.
Review the public types and release README before upgrading an integration.

## Package entry points

| Entry point | Purpose |
| - | - |
| `@dreamtune/sdk` | HTTP client and public operation types |
| `@dreamtune/sdk/node` | Local compute-access client |
| `@dreamtune/sdk/mcp` | MCP registration exports |
| `dreamtune` | CLI, local workflows and stdio MCP command |
| `dreamtune-mcp` | Direct stdio MCP executable |

## Scope of the interfaces

The current model API is non-streaming and uses Dreamtune's run contract.
An OpenAI-compatible chat endpoint and hosted managed-agent deployment are
not part of this package. Website checkout and key management remain dashboard
flows. The legacy free-chat interface is development-only.

Client configuration changes over time. Agent setup pages link to the official
client documentation checked for this publication. Matching the documented
configuration is distinct from installing and testing every editor locally.

Version 0.1.1 supports server-applied launch-discount receipts. Use that version
or later, and inspect saved run state before retrying an uncertain request.
